It is the only brewery in the immediate area, filling a need for local craft and home brews in a city that is notorious for its love of alcoholic beverages. The idea of The Cellar Door is to not only brew excellent craft beers for the locals, but also to feature local home brewers on their tap systems. With renovations to the basement of the historic Woodruff building (furnished with a full bar, modern decor, couches, and even a projector screen), The Cellar Door is a destination for local gatherings, events, and parties, as well as a great place to go and try some local brews and have some laughs with friends.
