Today’s Bourbon: BUFFALO TRACE

Did you know?Buffalo Trace is made at the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, which is considered one of the oldest continuously operating distilleries in America.

Here’s the really cool part…

Buffalo Trace Bourbon gets its name from the historic buffalo paths that once crossed Kentucky! Those trails were used by buffalo and later became routes for early settlers traveling west.

Another fun fact: Buffalo Trace is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon, meaning it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels and meet specific requirements to legally carry that designation.

So the next time you see that famous buffalo on the bottle remember, there’s some Kentucky history behind it!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and joined us for Pancake Saturday at The Scotchmen

We had such a great turnout, and it was wonderful seeing so many familiar faces and getting to spend the morning with our Scotchmen family
