🍎❤️ Today is our Annual Orting School District Appreciation Day! ❤️🍎
The SparPole is proud to celebrate the incredible people who make a difference in the lives of our students every single day. It truly takes a community to help our kids learn, grow, and thrive.
Several years ago, in honor of our dear friend Heidi Si’itia, we officially named the last day of school Orting School District Appreciation Day. Heidi was our favorite (and always smiling) O-Town crossing guard, whose kindness and love for our community touched so many lives.
If you see sunflowers today, we hope you’ll take a moment to remember Heidi and all of the amazing people who show up every day with caring hearts to keep our children safe, supported, and encouraged.
Today, we’d like to say THANK YOU to all school employees—from teachers, paraeducators, office staff, bus drivers, custodians, cafeteria teams, maintenance crews, crossing guards, administrators, and everyone in between. This celebration is for school staff from any district.
