We are Frank & Lili Bacon and in the summer of 2017, we opened a micro-brewery in the heart of Oriental, NC. Our mission is to brew locally-inspired craft beers that surprise and delight our customers, and just as importantly, to offer a welcoming place in the heart of our village for people of all ages to connect, create, celebrate and thrive together. Each week, our Taproom features different NC craft breweries in addition to our own brews. Our 1-barrel micro-brewery began producing in August 2017 and we released our 1st batch in early September 2017. We hope you'll stop by and pay us a visit! Our house is your house.

Pamlico County Sheriff’s Office Missing Person – Public Assistance Requested

The Pamlico County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing person.

Thomas Jefferson Jones Sr., 81, of Oriental, was last seen on May 25th, 2026, around 9:00 p.m. leaving a friend’s house in Oriental and heading back towards his residence in Oriental. Investigators believe that Jones may be operating his 2026 Charcoal Gray Dodge Ram, NC Registration Plate of 22PFDV.

Jones is described as a Black male, approximately 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighing approximately 190 pounds, with black/gray facial hair, bald, and brown eyes.

Jones has been entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) as a missing person.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Thomas Jefferson Jones Sr. is urged to contact the Pamlico County Sheriff’s Office at (252) 745-3101. Anonymous tips may also be provided.

The Pamlico County Sheriff’s Office appreciates the public’s assistance in this matter.
