It's been a while since we've posted here, but some news calls for reaching out to the people who matter most to us.
We recently learned of the passing of Tony Mijo one of our original Tossers and truly one of the people who made Coin Toss what it was. If you spent any time in our taproom, you probably knew him. He had a way of lighting up the room.
Long-timers will remember him as "Produce Tony", back when he was driving truck for a produce company. Later he became "Benchmade Tony", a nod to the job he loved at Benchmade Knife Company in Oregon City. If you knew either version of him, you knew you were lucky.
Many of you may remember OctTonyFest, which we threw in the early days of the brewery. Tony was the inspiration behind it, and that tells you everything you need to know about the kind of guy he was.
He was also our biggest fan of George's Honest Ale, and I can still hear him asking when the next batch was coming.
Our hearts go out to his family, espeically his wife Shannon Mijo and his son Anthony, both familiar and welcome faces in the taproom in their own right.
Tony, you were an original, and we won't forget you. 🍺

Our Salute To Tonys continues with a shout-out to faithful customer TONY MIJO!
He's a big fan of George's Honest Ale, always shows up with his growler in hand & loves to tell businesses along his delivery driver route about our beer...
All hail the mighty Tonys!
