FOOD TRUCK PARK COMES TO ORANGEVALE
STARTING AUG 9TH
“What should we get for dinner tonight?” That should be a fun question leading to a lively debate about culinary pros and cons. In reality, it translates to “Which of the five restaurants we always go to are you the least tired of?” But fear not, Orangevaleans! Global Eats Food Truck Park on Greenback & Main Ave is here to bring some variety to your dining life. What if one family member wants a burrito and the other wants chicken tikka masala? Global Eats helps you solve your dinner table civil war so everyone can get what they want.
Starting August 9th, Global Eats will host 2-4 food trucks from 4pm to 8pm every Friday. If they get enough community support, they will add additional days of the week. Food trucks will rotate but they are planning on having India Jones (Indian food), Santacos (Mexican food), Bubble Hive (dessert treats), Hefty Gyros (Mediterranean food), and Bangin’ Bowls (Latin fusion food), & Boulevard Coffee. All trucks offer food to-go or you can dine outside to enjoy a warm summer night with friends and family.
Eating at food trucks is a great way to support local restauranteurs bringing delicious new food into the community. Remember that you are not just overeating, you are passionately supporting local businesses!
The empty lot just off the corner of Greenback and Main in Orangevale has long been unused so the owners see it as an opportunity to utilize a high visibility site with a low impact use while providing fun new food variety. Don’t miss out on the chance to try something new, support local businesses, and kick start a food truck park right here in Orangevale.
