Many of you know our families through House of Pizza on Sims, Barrel Room in Orangeburg, and Cork & Barrel in Santee. Driftwood Grill, home of the Lazy Gator at Lake Marion, was created as a dream extension of those family businesses — a place built to bring people together, create memories, and serve the communities we love.

This past weekend’s tragic weather-related incident has deeply affected many people, including guests, staff members, first responders, families, friends, and our surrounding communities. Like so many others, our families and teams are heartbroken and continue to process everything that has happened.

Right now, our focus remains on supporting one another, praying for everyone affected, and allowing space for healing throughout the community. We are incredibly thankful for the compassion, prayers, support, and kindness shown by Clarendon County, Orangeburg, Santee, and so many surrounding communities during this difficult time.

Please continue to keep everyone impacted in your thoughts and prayers. ❤️🙏
