The Voltage Hogs are coming to The B Side Ballroom & Supper Club for a rare night of blistering jazz fusion, instrumental rock and fearless improvisation.
Western New York standouts Jamie Holka on guitar and vocals and Paul Yates on bass join forces with acclaimed Nashville touring and session drummer David Northrup—a Central New York native who grew up and attended school in Chittenango before taking his talent to some of the biggest stages in American music.
Northrup’s remarkable career includes recording and performance credits with Boz Scaggs, John Mellencamp, Rick Derringer, John Waite, Wynonna, Travis Tritt, Tanya Tucker, The Oak Ridge Boys, Joe Diffie, Pam Tillis, Lee Greenwood, The Disco Biscuits and many more. He is currently touring with country superstar Joe Nichols.
Now he returns to Central New York for a performance you won’t hear anywhere else.
The Voltage Hogs will tear into original compositions from Holka’s and Northrup’s independent recording projects, alongside explosive new arrangements inspired by Jimi Hendrix, Miles Davis, Jeff Beck, Steely Dan and Billy Cobham.
