Hello it is time I announce the official closing of our last location in Lincoln, Ne. I just can’t do it without my wife 😔 I have held on as long as I could and now I must move on. Over the years we have met and fed so many amazing people from all over the world through our food ❤️ This was one of the most memorable eras of my life but I just simply can not go on with out the help of Miftah ❤️❤️ I still love every one of you ❤️ You are all my family ❤️❤️❤️

Our beloved Fatiah Ali ascended to heaven on February 14th 2023 in her sleep. She was a renowned business owner, amazing wife and a friend to many. Her passing is a shock to all of us and we were not prepared to lose our best friend. We are looking for help from our community to help with funeral costs. Our Zen Life Journey

We have had quite the journey from feeding the hungry in the West End of Atlanta, GA to opening our very first location Urban Dwellers also in the West End, with a focus on creating healing herbal blends to help heal our community and good simple food.

We then had the opportunity to move to Dallas, TX where we added custom tea blends to the mix at our space in Deep Ellum. After several years we moved back to Atlanta and opened the space we are most known for, Zennubian 7 Teahouse (and yes we still have the massive Buddha Head Door) We were so proud to work with local farmers and feature local ingredients. And feed all of you.

We were excited to again be embraced by our community and recognized for our passion for what we do. We were honored to receive several awards, Best new Vegetarian Restaurant, Best Teahouse, a feature in the eat, shop atlanta guide as one of the most interesting places to eat, we even received a write up by food critic Christiane Lauderbach! With all of that, the thing that bought us the most joy was sharing our food and experiences with all of you. We took a break and decided to rescue horses and that was a once in a lifetime experience and a joyful time.

We then moved to North Carolina and opened our third Zennubian 7 Teahouse and added a fine wine shop to our herb and tea mix, and now here we are on the next journey in Omaha, NE with The Lilly Pad Kitchen which is a fun surprise located inside a bar called Billy Frogg’s where we get to delight people with unexpected dishes.
