You can’t swing from this Chandelier, but it will make you wanna fly!

One of my favorite cocktail recipes made its way to first place after three years of coming up short in competitions.
This cocktail took a different approach. It starts with a home made lavender and chamomile infused wildflower honey that’s complimented by a hint of citrus. Next I add Absolut Peppar to spice it up and add subtle hints of peppery flavor. Lastly we at our Italicus - the star of the show. The spirit has a fragrant smell of citrus, bergamot, herbal bitterness, and the suggestion of sweetness. It tastes similarly of citrus, grass, and flowers, with sweetness and some bitterness. After shaking I add it to my champagne flute and top it off with Bugey-Cerdon; it may come as a surprise, with sweet notes of candied rose petals, fresh lingonberries, a little greenness and some pink grapefruit acidity. Garnish was not a must have but the rose-sugar rim, orchid and lavender punctuate an expectation of libations in luxury.
