MONDAY WEATHER REPORT FROM THE TWO MILE ☁️🔥

Olympia woke up and chose 90 degrees with clouds, which is basically the weather equivalent of a crockpot.

So let’s be realistic.

You are not cooking tonight.
You are not preheating anything.
You are not standing in front of a stove while the house feels like a humid sock.

That’s where we come in.

Mel’s behind the bar.
Brian’s in the kitchen.
And Monday means Steak Night at the Two Mile.

ATTENTION 2 MILERS ⛪🍻☀️

We will be holding Sunday church service at 11:00 AM today.

Service will begin with a mimosa, followed by a moment of gratitude for sunshine on the deck.

Sister Lisa will be behind the bar, pouring the mimosas and keeping the congregation hydrated.

We will then take collection of bad decisions, loose pull-tab money, and everyone’s last shred of weekend dignity…

And we’ll close with a blessing from the kitchen:

SATURDAY PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT 🍔☀️

Kaleb made a happy hamburger.

We’re not asking questions — we’re just passing along the message: come soak up some sunshine on the deck, grab a cold drink, and have yourself a super smiley Saturday.

Honestly, the burger makes a compelling argument.

See you at the Two Mile. The deck is waiting, the drinks are cold, and apparently the burgers are in a fantastic mood. 😄🍻

Newer face in the kitchen: Josh! 👨‍🍳🔥

Josh has been with us for a bit now, and he is proving to be an excellent addition to the Two Mile crew.

Before coming to us, Josh worked at Cascadia Grill and South Bay Pub, so he came in with solid kitchen experience — but what really caught our eye on his resume?

Solid knife skills.
General badassery.
And the ability to handle high volume without freaking out.

Seriously. Those were his own words. And honestly? That’s exactly the kind of energy we appreciate in a kitchen.

Josh is also a certified yoga teacher and will be leading a sunset vinyasa over the summer months, which means he can probably breathe through a ticket rush better than the rest of us.

You can find Josh in the kitchen Thursday through Sunday, helping crank out the good stuff and keeping the chaos under control.

Welcome to the crew, Josh — thanks for bringing the knife skills, calm energy, and general badassery. 🍔🧘‍♂️🔥

New face behind the bar!

Mel is new to the current Two Mile crew, but some of you may already know her from her previous time at the Two Mile & managing the Boulevard Tavern.

If you haven’t met her yet, swing in and say hi. She’ll be working daytime shifts Monday through Wednesday with Brian.
