SCHERLER SUNDAYS BREAKING NEWS:
Our wonderful neighborhood schools are under threat of being shut down once again by the Olympia School District board, and, well, to put it bluntly, WE ❤️ ALL SCHOOLS. We firmly believe that our small neighborhood schools intrinsically teach our kids how to be a contributing member of their community. In other words, we don’t want to see multiple schools shuttered under the guise of budget concerns, only to pass a bond, in order to…(drum roll please)…BUILD A NEW SCHOOL.

So, once again, we’re making some noise. Literally. We’re happy to partner with to introduce what will become a new tradition at the Scherler Sundays Olympia Music History Project Showcase each summer: the OSD4ALL Student Spotlight Stage, where OSD students (like newcomer Rex Zander Rae) will perform between bands, and exemplify first hand the power of community. Oh, and a HUGE shoutout to the Northern Sky for lending us their stage for this!

Beyond that, since there will be very limited parking, we’re thrilled to announce that Intercity Transit will be on site providing FREE BIKE VALET services as part of their Walk N Roll program! So if you ride your bikes to Scherler Sundays, your bikes will be safely locked away while you enjoy the festivities. How freaking awesome is that???

We can’t wait to see y’all tomorrow—it’s going to be a magical day!!!
