The captivating waters of Okoboji have attracted visitors for many generations with an allure strong enough to make lifetime residents out of some and frequent returners out of everyone else. Wilson who, together with his sons, would create Wilson Boat Works and later acquire the adjoining and iconic Okoboji Store. For nearly 90 years and across three generations, the Wilson Family would be the ca

reful custodians of the southern-most shore of Okoboji, providing supplies and a place to meet and socialize, delivering groceries by horse-drawn wagon, building boats bearing their name, servicing and renting boats and dock space, driving passenger steamboats, operating the swing bridge, and yes, doing a little fishing. After being gone for many years, the Okoboji Store is back and better than ever in 2015, while paying tribute to the rich history that began so long ago.

LAKE TEMP BEER is BACK! Join us on the Okoboji Store Dock this weekend for two nights with Blake Jack live on the lakefront stage at 8 PM.

Weaving original music with a multitude of covers from Garth, Jason Aldean, and Eric Church to Guns N’ Roses and AC/DC equals genre-magic and a night to remember!

Plus, LAKE TEMP BEER while the band plays at Zeke’s Dockside Bar. That means Busch Light cans cost whatever the lake temp is.
