OU got the weekend started last night. Today, it’s the Cowboys’ turn.

OSU takes on Tulsa at 2:45 PM, and we’ll have college football on all day across our TVs at Skydance OKC.

Thursday Sessions starts TONIGHT at Skydance OKC. 🎶

We’re kicking off our new Thursday-night live music series with a familiar face — Shawn Proffitt.

Shawn has been part of Thursday nights at Skydance for a long time, and he’s still going to be around. But Thursday Sessions is something new: a rotating lineup of local artists bringing different sounds to Skydance every Thursday night.

And if you’re coming for dinner, this is also a great excuse to try our new Burger of the Month — Hatch Me Outside, loaded up with roasted Hatch chile flavor.

Grab a burger, order a Skydance beer or cocktail, and hang out with Shawn as we kick off the first Thursday Sessions at OKC.

Wow! Last night was just unbelievable!! By far, the biggest day in the history of Skydance…by a mile! We never could have imagined that sort of turnout. And with the new Eagle’s Nest and cocktail menu, I just can’t imagine too many better environments for events like that.

But despite doubling the size of our available space, we still didn’t have an empty seat in the house! The team did their absolute best, but nobody could have anticipated we would have double the business we normally have for events like this and we apologize for the long lines and waits on food, but our little kitchen can only pump out so much food at once and every bartender we had available was working, so they did about as good as humanly possible.

Thank you to everyone who partied with us yesterday, thanks to Rachel & Griffin Music for kicking off the day and giving us a great afternoon crowd despite the heat, and thank you to our extended Skydance family members, The Flannels who just continues to deliver one great performance after another! They’ll be back in just 4 weeks, plus a Halloween Party performance in MWC in October. The Flannels and Skydance…just a match made in heaven!

A little look back at last year’s Oktoberfest… 🍺

We had such a damn good time last year that we decided to do it all over again. Just a little irresponsibly early.

Smells Like Stein Spirit: A Skydance Oktoberfest is TODAY at Skydance OKC.

Rachel & Griffin Music get things started at 4 PM, then Trace Gross are back at 8 PM to help us celebrate the release of Smells Like Stein Spirit, our Märzen-style Oktoberfest collaboration with the band.

And we’ve got plenty happening in between:

🥨 Pretzel Toss – 6 PM
🍺 Stein Race – 8 PM
💪 Masskrugstemmen – 9:30 PM

Plus Smells Like Stein Spirit + Grungefest, bratwurst, bratburgers, our new giant pretzel, and plenty more from the kitchen and bar.

We’ve got two special beer releases lined up for the day:

Smells Like Stein Spirit
Our annual Märzen-style Oktoberfest collaboration with The Flannels

Grungefest
A draft-only Festbier brewed just for the celebration

And the food is getting the Oktoberfest treatment too. We’ll have bratwurst, bratburgers, and our new giant pretzel, served with house-made beer cheese and beer mustard.

Every once in a while, we’ll take trivia next door so more of you have a chance to experience the new space, grab a beer or cocktail, and see everything that’s now part of Skydance.
