๐น FREE TIP FRIDAY FROM THE SWIG RIG! ๐น
๐ง TIP #5: DONโT FORGET THE ICE! ๐ง
You bought the alcohol. โ๏ธ
Youโve got the mixers. โ๏ธ
The garnishes are ready. โ๏ธ
The guests are coming. โ๏ธ
But did anybody remember the ICE?! ๐ณ๐
It may sound simple, but ice is one of the easiest things to underestimate when planning a party.
And hereโs the thingโฆ
Ice isnโt JUST going in your guestsโ drinks!
You may also need it to:
๐ง Fill cocktail glasses
๐บ Keep b**r cold
๐ท Chill w**e
๐ฅค Keep mixers cold
๐น Shake cocktails
โ๏ธ Fill coolers and ice bins
All of that ice adds up FAST!
๐ก HEREโS YOUR FREE TIP:
As a general starting point, plan approximately 1โ2 pounds of ice per guest for an event where youโre serving mixed drinks.
BUTโฆ
Outdoor Florida event? โ๏ธ
Long party? โฐ
Lots of cocktails? ๐น
Using ice to chill b**r and w**e? ๐บ๐ท
You may need MORE!
And whatever you doโฆ
๐จ Donโt use the same ice thatโs keeping cans and bottles cold to make your guestsโ drinks!
Keep your serving ice clean and separate from your chilling ice.
A little extra ice at the end of the night is MUCH better than running out halfway through the party! ๐
Because nobody wants to hearโฆ
โSorry, weโre out of ice.โ ๐ณ
Especially in Florida! โ๏ธ๐
