My story
Hi. My name is Pat and I am a brew-a-holic. When I hear about a new beer I want to taste it.

Some would say I have an obsession with brewing craft beer; me, I call it passion. I want to smell it. I want to feel it’s carbonation on my tongue and hear the bubble bursting flavor as the aroma filled molecules go crashing through my mouth. Hops, malts, yeasts I want them all! I want the unique scents and flavors of sours, delicate fruit, tart and funky. I want the bold “rip your face off” of h

oppy IPA’s, the deep and complex richness of stouts and porters, and the unique phenolic fruitiness of Belgian styles. I want it all. I want to bask in the color as light illuminates their beauty and map its texture as it flows past each taste bud on my tongue and throat on its way to my gullet. When I read a new recipe, my imagination immediately takes flight, bombarding my senses with unique images of the brewers intentions; a three dimensional creation that can be seen from all sides, smelled like fresh baked bread, layered together like Neapolitan ice cream. Then, I have to brew it so I can taste it, smell it, feel it. Share it with my friends, yes everyone. The cycle repeats. My goal is to share the “art” of brewing craft beer with as many people as possible and to develop and nurture their passion for the craft beverage movement. Whether exploring different techniques and combinations of ingredients or just brewing with friends and enjoying good times, there are as many great tasting beers as there are people that love to make and drink them. Yes, it’s photoshopped.

Now that we’ve got that out of the way, this is a shot I’ve been dreaming of for years, but there’s a few issues that prevent me from capturing it:
1) I don’t really want to be outside in polar bear country in the pitch black
2) polar bears move, and so it would be hard to get a photo of one at night that isn’t blurry
3) polar bears are hard to find and the northern lights are unpredictable so two of them together is very tough

Anyhow, if any of you happen to be the owner of like…Microsoft, or something, and feel like chipping in some funding for me to spend an entire winter in the Arctic let’s party.
