The Monarch is up to something and the Atrium is changing…First Friday is already one of our favorite nights to see the Atrium come alive, but if you’re strolling through tonight, you might notice a few things starting to look a little different around here.

The Monarch’s own is sharing more about the heart behind this year’s Ogden Yoga Fest, including the cause we’re supporting and some seriously cool prizes he handmade himself!

Purchase a raffle ticket for your chance to win one of Glen’s handcrafted whiskey barrel Adirondack chairs, with 100% of raffle proceeds and donations benefiting Yoga Forward, a Utah nonprofit bringing the healing benefits of yoga and mindfulness to communities that need them most. To win, you must be present as your name is drawn during our final class of the evening. This class is FREE: a restorative Yin class led by Susan Beck with live ambient music by Matthew Baird, aka Subtle Manor.

Fall is calling, and we’re answering with a Harvest Market! Join us in next week as First Friday: Open Studio Night gets a seasonal twist with local vendors, fresh finds, art, food, and bar. On Friday, September 4th from 6-9 PM, shop everything from Chilaquile Beast and Farm Fresh To You to Black Talon Crystals, The Enchantecarry, The Magic Moon & Me Guidance, and more. This lineup wouldn’t be complete without Van Sessions! They’re back with live music and podcasting inside the local legend: Tan Van, bringing another round of intimate performances to kick off the season. Come for the harvest finds, stay for the art and music, and consider this your first excuse to get into the fall spirit!🍂🕯️🥖🎶🍺

Something zen is coming to The Monarch this September…Ogden Yoga Fest is ON and bringing together our local yoga and wellness community for a day of movement, connection, and good energy. Join us Sunday, September 27th for yoga classes, demos, a vibrant vendor market, and more. Come for the classes or just come for the vibes! Entry is free to wander the market and soak in the relaxing atmosphere…Ready to hit the mat? Your first class is only $15, and every class after that is just $10! August is looking extra creative at Ogden Contemporary Arts! OCA’s Artist Factory is offering a full month of hands-on workshops and community art experiences that are always free, with all ages welcome and no experience needed. Upcoming activities include Wear Your Joy capes, opposable paper creatures, a community mural and sidewalk chalk at the Farmers Market, watercolor at Lester Park, Ink and Brush Lampshades, and more throughout the month. Come create, try something new, and connect with Ogden’s creative community!
