Howard's Pub on Ocracoke Island, North Carolina The Howard's Pub crew welcomes you to our little corner of paradise. We're open for lunch and dinner from early Spring through late Fall.

Casual, Fun and Friendly. The Pub caters to everyone; from anglers to honeymooners, locals and visitors, the young and old. Families and large groups are always welcome. The Pub is a great place to bring the aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and all your friends or simply enjoy it by yourself. The dress is comfortable and very casual. Kids have their own menu with meals served on take home Frisbees.

The Pub has a libations list including bottled craft beers and domestics plus 12 drafts, wine and specialty cocktails. Fun loving and casual, Howard’s Pub is open every day from mid-March to sometime in late fall for lunch and dinner. The Pub is where you often find the locals catching up on island business as well as visitors stopping in from all over the world. The expansive menu offers fresh local seafood; including the island’s only raw bar, char grilled steaks and fish, juicy burgers, salads and sandwiches. The Pub serves the same menu all day long so you can accommodate your appetite with a wide array of offerings. The french fries are hand-cut from choice Idaho potatoes; and our chowder and other soups are made each day from our own recipes.) The décor is eclectic with college pennants, licenses plates from all over the country and a vast collection of neon lights. Televisions are located throughout the restaurant for your viewing pleasure. In addition to the main dining room there is a large screened porch with ceiling fans and an expansive wooden bar. Enjoy relaxing on the sky deck with your favorite beverage while taking in the island views. Howard’s Tower offers an enclosed view of the island and a quieter place to sit with friends. The Pub gift shop offers a wide selection of t-shirts, sweatshirts, and Pub memorabilia. So come see us, sit back, relax and slip back into what we call the “Ocracoma”!

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there! If you’re enjoying it here on the island Howard’s is 11am to 10pm so swing on in and let dad enjoy some sports on tv, cold beer, and a great meal! Howard’s Pub will be open from 11 AM to 10 PM serving food and drink for the summer. Don’t forget to come out Sunday, May 24 to help support the Ocracoke volunteer fire department as Howard’s has pledged to donate 10% of the proceeds that day to the department. Maybe come try our new lobster roll and the Ray McAllister band will be starting at 9 PM Sunday night for your entertainment.
