We are so glad to have Hope Mathis, Tyler Burns & Donovan Brack were here today to accept this check on behalf of the OHS German Clubs.
We couldn't be more honored by making this $5,000 donation, every year, to help make these trips possible for those students.
For those of you that don't know, Jason Curtis and the Dietzenbach Student Exchange Group have been huge supporters of the Market from the beginning. Since our inception, 14 years ago, the high school students have help build our original Huts, selling Candy & Advent Calendars and other various tasks around the market to support their clubs, which makes supporting them such an honor.
Since the exchange program has been in place, students get to travel our sister city, Dietzenbach, Germany. This summer Cassie Brooks, who leads the OASD exchange group, will be taking students on this life changing trip.
So today, we would like to thank everyone involved to make this happen! Although there are so many people to mention, the list wouldn't be complete without Denise Huebner. She is the German Club Advisor, who had been such a vital contributor to making so much of this possible
