What are we looking for? Kind, personable, & efficient experienced servers (21+) who can work part time Wednesday—Saturday afternoons and evenings. Bartending experience is a plus, but training is available. Strong knowledge of wine and spirits preferred.

Pay: Compensation is variable based on tips

Line Cook!

What are we looking for? A talented, organized, efficient, and motivated cook with at least 1 year of kitchen experience who can work Wednesday—Saturday afternoons and nights.

This person will safely prep, cook, and plate our scratch menu with the opportunity to contribute to specials and menu development. Skills include baking, sauté, grill, and saucier, while ensuring a high degree of quality and consistency.

Pay: $17–$20/hour, based on experience

Join Black River and on Wednesday, October 29 from 5-8pm for our annual Pours for Purrs benefit to honor Community Action to Save Strays (CATSS)!

50% of sales from wines by the glass and other in-house beverages will go directly to this hard working organization of volunteers in Oberlin.

We will also have a silent auction with fun and affordable gifts, our famous 50/50 raffle, and a few special guest 🐈🐈‍⬛! Join us for an evening of drinking wine to celebrate the felines (and their humans)
