For those of you who worried about the goats outside the pub when we closed last month... we just wanted you to know that since we had some liquor left, the goats are doing very well!

The good news; This week the pub has been open 8 years!
The bad news; we are very sad to tell you that we are closing permanently effective immediately.
We recently lost an employee, and we have tried constantly and diligently to hire new people, but if you have noticed, nobody wants to work and many businesses are having the same problem.
If any of you have gift cards, contact me and we will exchange them for the balance in cash. Call me at 785 672 5075

Sorry everyone, we have employees who can't work tonight due to illness and other obligations, so we are going to be closed tonight. We plan on being open Thursday at 5.

Like so many restaurants and other businesses, our future hangs in the balance because we can't find people willing to work. Our average pay is over $22/hr and we still can't find anyone.
Your help is welcomed and appreciated!

Tomorrow is the 4th of July! We will open at 5 as usual, but will close at 8:30 PM because all our staff wants to see the fireworks in Oakley.

Please welcome our newest crew member, Regan Lewis.
Regan lives on a cattle ranch south of Grinnell Kansas, she lives for her horses, and she is in the nursing program at Colby Community College.
Regan is a people person and a very hard worker. We are proud to have her aboard!

Sunday June 13th

This has been another record week for us. Our theory is everyone was staying safely at home over the past year. Now that the covid threat seems to be passing, people are getting out and things are returning to normal.
The bad news; several of your favorite items we ran out of this week.
The good news; we have several great things tonight and we have ordered a double shipment of the popular foods and they arrive tomorrow!

It's Back!

Wagyu Sirloin

Wagyu is considered to be the best in the world; it is two grades above USDA Prime. Our Wagyu Sirloin is a thick 10 oz cut. The marbling of this steak is second to none.

Served with your choice of mashed, twice baked potatoe, or our hand cut fries, and our butter & garlic grilled green beans.

Cap'n Jack's Pub needs one special person. If you are 18 years old or over, and reliable this could be for you!

We are open 5 evenings a week from 5 pm till 10 pm.
Everyone does everything here; serve, prep, clean, cook.
You will make full time wages for less than 25 hours a week. Because we are located in the RV park, the tips are incredible! We have a built-in customer base.
We are a to***co free/drug free employer.
Cap'n Jack's is one of the top rated restaurants in the state, and we expect our employees to reflect that.
Weekend evenings are required, we are closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
