Twenty Years, Rooted Here

Save the Date: Saturday, October 10, 2026

This autumn, Triple Oak W**e will celebrate twenty years.

The journey has never been ours alone. It has been carried by family, friends, neighbors, growers, makers, and every person who has brought a bottle home and made a place for it at the table.

It has also unfolded within the oak woodland that shelters the vineyard, and alongside the fox, bobcat, deer, hawk, bees, and other quiet neighbors whose lives are woven into this land.

That shared story is the heart of The Woodland, our weekly series leading toward October 10. These stories will continue through the anniversary, revealing more of the people, the place, and the wild character that have shaped Triple Oak across two decades.

On October 10, we will gather to honor what has been, raise a glass to what is, and begin the next chapter together.

The full celebration is coming. Follow our page as we share event details, stories, and invitations in the weeks ahead.

Twenty years, rooted here. And the story is still growing.

The Woodland: (Bobcat in the vineyard)
The bobcat came as summer began to loosen its hold.

A late-summer morning, a mouse broke from the dry grass and hurried between the vines. A bobcat followed, silent and deliberate, out of the oak woodland, through the gap in the fence and into Triple Oak’s upper rows. Then, for a moment, it stopped and looked back.

Autumn is nearly upon us. The mornings arrive a little cooler now. The grass has turned gold, and the vineyard is drawing close to harvest. Yet, as the seasons shift, the woodland continues its quiet work… sheltering the hillside and making room for the wild lives that pass through.

This is The Woodland at Triple Oak: a place where nature does not end at the first row of grapes, but moves among them. A place we are grateful to care for, and proud to share.

Triple Oak is at Cottage Grove Public Market pouring our grape juices. Pinot Noir and Tempranillo juice. The blackberry food coop, in the public market, is now carrying our juice. Stop by and check it out.

Today is special, so stop by Triple Oak W**e Coffee and Tea. Well, everyday is special but two special attributes today.
There are Plein Air painters in town, painting what they see as special in our town. Come peak over their shoulders. But first, come in to Triple Oak and Oakland Coffee for a beverage and meet members of UCANs Pouring Generosity team. They are giving away free shopping bags and I will add a free cookie to anyone who stops by. Triple Oak is supporting UCAN by donating a share of every coffee beverage sold in August. Please come help UCAN, enjoy a beverage and watch painters.

The Woodland: The fox appeared at the hour when gold left the grass.

From the edge of the oak woodland, a common gray fox settled above Triple Oak’s south-facing rows and looked out across Oakland, Oregon. The vines held the last of the day’s warmth. Behind them, the woodland kept its long counsel.

Betty has always understood that the vineyard is not separate from nature; it is one room inside the woodland. The oaks protect more than the view. They shelter the hillside and make room for the fox, the deer, the hawk, the bees—and for a vineyard learning to live well among them.

The fox is a neighbor. A watcher. A quiet reminder that this land is shared, and that what we care for today will feed what comes next.

Soon, this very fox will appear on the label of Triple Oak’s newest bottle. When it is released, we hope you will raise a glass with us—not simply to the w**e, but to Betty & Geoff, the vineyard, and the woodland that makes a place for us all.

Thursday August 13th

6 to 8 PM with musicians Jason and Deb

Enjoy a summery dinner all from the garden (mostly). This estate grown dinner will have fresh salsa in the appetizer and pasta primavera for the main dish so that I can use our abundant garden produce. Dessert will feature fresh blackberries.

Plus we will offer a sneak preview of our new Pinot Gris.

This vineyard companion, a native Oregon Grey Fox, has been patrolling our woodlands and perhaps managing the turkey population. He will be honored with a place on our Pinot Gris label.
