It’s San Francisco Beer Week and we’ve teamed up with some of our favorite breweries to share the best beers of the Bay right at Cato’s Ale House!!

Tuesday the 24th: takes over our taps with 4 delicious brews and our annual Coaster Coloring Contest! From 5-8pm we’ll have coasters to color in with prizes from Laughing Monk swag to Cato’s gift cards. Drink, draw, WIN!

Thursday the 26th: this tap takeover with will feature another 4 outstanding brews, including their limited release Doom Bloom IIIPA! Design a beer can label while enjoying a pint and you may just see it on their next can! Prizes for the best designs including swag and gift cards!

Saturday the 28th: we’ve worked with to create a delicious food pairing menu to go along with their tap takeover. 4 delicious beer, perfectly matched plates, what a night!

We can’t wait to for you to join us in the festivities! Flights will be available to get a taste of all the Bay has to offer!! CHEERS!

THIS SATURDAY!!

Pliny the Younger 2026 is already upon us! Tapping at Noon this Saturday the 7th, it’s as fresh as it gets!

We won’t be doing our usual line up for tokens, but we still suggest getting here early to get a seat, grab a bite and enjoy the Pliny the Younger atmosphere!!

We omly have one keg and it will go fast, but we will be following it with more delicious brews so stick around and make a day of it!

Spooky season has arrived and we are in our element! Heres a look at what October has in store:

Oktoberfest at Cato’s starts this Friday the 3rd with special Plattes and beers, available for 2 weeks!

We have live music every Wednesday at 6pm, and be sure to stop by for something sweet after the Piedmont Ave Halloween Parade on Saturday October 25th! Candy for the kids, craft beer for the adults!

Summer is in full swing! Heres a look at July at Cato’s!

We will be closed this Friday, the 4th, but back open Saturday at 11:30am!

We won’t have live music on Sundays for the time being, but join us every Wednesday at 6pm to catch great music from some of our favorite local bands!

Come try our Caprese salad, with local heirloom tomatos and fried basil!

Or give our Pork Belly Sando a go! Oven roasted pork belly with pickled onion, fried jalapeno, arugula and sriracha mayo.

We even have Tiramisu to finish it all off 😋
