There’s less than a week until our California Inside Out & UNCOMMON CALIFORNIA release party! If you haven’t heard, this coming Tuesday, October 13th, from 5-7 PM, we’re celebrating the release of Obi Kaufmann’s (Obi Kaufmann ) new book, California Inside Out, & our new brew inspired by it: UNCOMMON CALIFORNIA (California Common | 5.9% ABV)📖đŸș

What makes this release party and collaboration extra special is that this b**r was made in partnership with the Center for Biological Diversity (Center for Biological Diversity ).

The Center for Biological Diversity is a long-standing, nonprofit membership organization that works to protect endangered species through “legal action, scientific petitions, creative media, and grassroots activism”. Through your support of UNCOMMON CALIFORNIA and this release party, we’re able to support the Center for Biological Diversity’s mission and its admirable efforts.

While this is the first time we are working in support of the Center for Biological Diversity, it isn’t Temescal Brewery’s first time collaborating with Obi. It’s always a pleasure to work with him because he is not only an incredible author and illustrator but also an avid conservationist. Temescal Brewery admires Obi’s “artful yet analytical” observations of our beautiful yet complex California landscape and the elements that suggest ways in which it may evolve. That’s what makes this entire thing so meaningful.

Cheers to California Inside Out, UNCOMMON CALIFORNIA, the protection of endangered species, & collaboration!đŸ» We’re happy to come together and support our beloved home state and the people who care about itđŸ©·
