We’d like to take a chance to thank all of our patient, & loyal customers. This season will definitely go in the books. Employees are few & far between. And the crowds are larger than ever. We are doing our absolute best to keep this ship afloat. We know the wait times have been long. That’s out of our control. If you come up & see open tables, please don’t “assume” we don’t want the buisness. We have a skeleton crew on our kitchen right now. And as badly as we’d like to see every seat full, with a wait, sometimes it’s just not feasible. If you’re not sat immediately, it’s because our kitchen is backed up. Or we are short staffed out front. And a lot of people, say why not seat them? The answer to that question is simple. Even if we seat people, explain the wait, they still expect to get served within a couple minutes of being seated. It happens almost every time. So instead, people go on a wait list. It’s the easiest, most efficient thing for our restaurant & staff. We hope that people show us patience & grace. Along with every restaurant on the area. If you’ve never been in the restaurant world, you don’t have a clue. We try our best. But sometimes, that’s just not enough for some customers. We look forward to the opportunity of the next time you visit the Pirates Deck.

Beginning this week Pirates Deck will be closed on Wednesdays the next couple weeks. And closed for breakfast on Thursday mornings for a couple weeks. Staffing has been an issue this year. And we don’t want to overwork the staff we have. So everyone will be getting an extra day off to rest. They deserve it.
