Hey folks! One of our favorite nights in our short stint in West Newton was our Thursday night trivia with host, Jodi Collier. It was always a fun evening out! Though we no longer host these nights, Jodi will lead a trivia night right up the road at the Donut Villa in nearby Newtonville! They have a full bar and great beer menu in addition to an excellent food menu! (Not just delicious donuts!)

It is with regret and sadness that I announce the end of Burke’s Alewerks. We poured our last pint this past week. I am forever grateful for all the support, laughter, music, and friendship that we all shared together. If you walked through our doors and shared a pint with us, we are grateful. There are so many wonderful memories and experiences and it was a truly worthwhile and most excellent journey! Slainte

Wednesday @ Burkes! Can release of our collaboration with Stellwagen Beer Co - “Cervezas Con Amigos” (Beers with Friends). This is a tasty Lime Kolsch that’s perfect for Cinco de Mayo! Our running group goes out at 6:30 - join us for a short informal run before we have beers in the taproom! Celtics on the Telly at 8pm. Doors open at 4pm.

We are very excited to release our collaboration beer with our friends at Stellwagen Beer Company. “Cervezas Con Amigos” - “Beers With Friends”! A Lime Kolsch-style beer, this is just in time for Cinco de Mayo! Cans-to-go and pours will be available tomorrow, Wednesday, in our Newton taproom at our 4 PM open. Also available at Stellwagen for those on the South Shore!

Go B’s!

Nervous about tonight’s game 7? Excited? Don’t want to watch alone? Brian Burke, the owner of Burke's Alewerks is looking pretty cool, and so is the bar’s puck-shaped logo, with colors turned to black and gold.

If you want to take in the game with friends old and new, it’s on screens at all the local bars tonight, including Burke’s Alewerks in W. Newton Square (where The Local Kitchen used to be). Burke’s serves its own locally-brewed beer and tonight has a kitchen takeover by Just the Dip food truck.

Irish music session, 6 PM to 8 PM today! Will also have the guys from the Just The Dip food truck taking over our kitchen from 12-8 and serving up their delicious fare. Come join us this Sunday afternoon! We’ll have the Bruins on the telly, too!

Matt and Keith return to the taproom this evening playing tunes from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Our doors are open now and we have a great selection of handcrafted, ales, wine, and a light taproom menu featuring pizza, burgers, and hot pretzels. Come spend this cloudy Saturday afternoon with us!
