Good morning Facebook friends. In leu of a video I decided to post a message.
It’s with mixed emotions I announce that I have accepted an offer on Cornerstone Burger Company’s real estate and it’s contents. The last couple of years have been like none other in our industry and more specifically my own life and career. Though the restaurant is doing “ok” it has struggled to regain its full pre Covid momentum and though we have worked hard enough to recoup a good amount of loses from being closed multiple times, an opportunity presented itself where I could sell, be profitable and downsize my business in order to utilize my time to make our Barre locations thrive. I’m really excited to now have the ability to make some needed improvements to our Barre locations and have plans to make some worthwhile subtle changes to be more involved than ever in the community. I would like to thank Travis and the Northfield staff for their hard work, efforts, smiles and professionalism. We will be closing on May 1st. Finally I would like to congratulate Scott Kerner and his team on the purchase of our little gem. Scott is a proven leader in our industry as well as a friend. Scott currently owns Good Measure Brewing and Carrier Coffee. He is extremely knowledgeable and already a huge part of the Northfield community. To me it was just as important to sell to someone that has the love and passion for the business and his town. Please take the time to look up and like Good Measure and follow Scott on his journey. Thank you to Northfield and Norwich for the opportunity to serve you. It was a pleasure. Have a wonderful week, thanks for the memories and hope to see some of you folks in our Barre locations.
