HOP TRAINING SEASON!
….It’s that time of year where we need to train the hops! The farm crew left Brewer Chris a few rows to train and Jacob gave him the how to: first, try not to train bull plants, indicated by wide internodes, second, watch out for downy mildew, downy mildew damaged plants will struggle to grow, and third, train clockwise around the coir , the plants will get maximum sun! Nothing quite like being able to connect with your ingredients as a brewer! BIG THANKS to the team who did all the stringing this weekend!! Let’s raise a glass to some delicious hops this year! 🌱 -> 🍺

WHAT A WEEKEND!
…We found out yesterday that a Flis Hot Honey Pepperoni pizza paired with a tall mug of Four Star Beer Please! paired with hanging out on the lawn watching the sunset really checked ALL. THE. BOXES. Flis is back today, bringing their exquisite, hand crafted, wood fired pies from 12-7, Melissa Brinton brings her amazing sound to the taproom, AND we have your favorite cold beverages flowing. High of 70, pizza, beer, and live music, what a way to spend a Saturday at Four Star! Come hungry (and thirsty!), come early!

WAIT, WHAT?!?! PIZZA ON FRIDAY?

For the first time our friends from Flis are firing up the oven ON A FRIDAY! Today from 4-7PM we will have wood fired pizza! Join us for some incredible weather, delicious cold ones and the perfect wood fired pizzas! We can’t be more excited for expanded pizza at ! Also, our hearts are full from all the love we have received in the last few weeks, we can’t thank you all enough for making the trip to Four Star!!

From this point forward Flis will be bringing their wood-fired pizza magic to the brewery every Friday and Saturday ❤️

The weather is settling into that perfect Memorial Day groove — warm sun, cool breeze, and just‑right temps for lawn games, picnic blankets, and a cold beer in hand. Pack up the family, toss a couple of lawn chairs in the car, and come stretch out on the grass. We’ll handle the beverages, the food, and the weekend fun.

ON TAP & IN THE COOLER

Easy Rider is back on draft this FRIDAY! Now brewed with refined water chemistry and a fruit‑forward yeast strain, this hazy IPA bursts with citrus juice and pith, layered with soft mango and guava. Bright, juicy, and finishing pillowy‑soft. Landing in cans to-go next week.

And because we can’t resist having a little fun with a good thing, we’re also tapping Yuzu Rider FRIDAY — a bright, zesty twist on Easy Rider. Built on the same refreshed base beer, this version gets a hit of yuzu that amps up the citrus, adds a pop of tartness, and makes the whole profile even more refreshing for warm‑weather sipping.

Flis is firing up the oven and rolling in with their incredible wood‑fired pizzas — the kind that turn a good afternoon into a great one. Think blistered crusts, melty cheese, and toppings that hit all the right notes alongside a cold Easy Rider or Beer Please! Perfection.

They start taking orders at noon, and trust us… you’ll want to come early. These pizzas disappear fast, and nothing kicks off a long‑weekend Saturday like that first hot slice and a cold beer in hand.
