We had hoped to continue our "Wing Fling" tradition, however due to events beyond our control we will not be able to host our summer party this year. Next summer (the Saturday after the 4th of July) make sure to mark your calendar as we are making plans to be back rain or shine. Next summer Matt will be home from his 1 year deployment to the Middle East, Elizabeth will be graduating with her degree from West Chester University, and Jack will be celebrating his 16th Birthday. We hope to have our biggest/best party yet. Hard to believe this party began 18 years ago. We thank you for all your support over the years and hope you will spend some time with us again next summer.

We are sorry to inform everyone that for 2017 we will not be hosting our annual "Wing Fling". Dave's last day with AveryDennison is June30 (his job is moving to Hong Kong). Our current plan it to take a long overdue family vacation (seeing if we can improve on our last cross country RV trip from 2009). We appreciate everyone's support of this party and we hope to come back even stronger (as long as Dave can find a good job!!!)... We look forward to seeing all of you at future events...

Schultz 14th Annual "Wing Fling" (yes we skipped the 13th because I switched jobs and was out of the state (not because we are the least bit superstitious!!!)...

Please join us at our annual “Wing Fling” in North Towanda. This year we will again host our “Hot Wing” eating contest featuring “Dave’s Insanity Sauce” (as well as the usual variety of Allegers sauces)… winner will have their name added as the 2016 champ. Wings, hotdogs, hamburgers, and liquid refreshments will be provided. If you wish you can bring a dish to pass… bring your appetite, your swim suit and your desire to have a good time. Plan to stay late as our night show promises to be even better than prior years (along with fireworks we will be releasing "hot air lanterns" in memory of family and friends no longer with us (Karl Brown, Otto Brown, Rhonda Brown, George Brown, Walt (Thumper) Brown, Richard Schultz, Mary Ellen (Schultz) Marshall. We will have extra lanterns so you can participate and release one for your loved ones as well ) , …Overnight stay encouraged, there will be places to bring your tent or camper… Please tell your friends, the more the merrier.

Just west of the route 220 and route 6 intersection in North Towanda is the State Police Barracks, turn across the street from the Barracks…after approx 100 yards the road T’s, turn right (pine grove road). Approx 500 yards after the T turn left (first turn) onto Summit road. 2/3 mile further you will see a split rail fence on the left side of the road and our drive marked with a road sign that says “Schultz Ln”. Turn left into the property and continue past the pond to the top of the hill where you will have plenty of place to park. We hope to see you all there.

NOTE: At this year’s celebration we would like to acknowledge our son Matt who will not be able to attend this year as he is off to Army "Boot Camp". We will have a "Matt on a slat" sign similar to our "Nick on a stick" sign and hope we can get pictures of all of you with Matt so we can send him pictures to remind him of home.

Other activities include Golf, Horseshoes, Volleyball, Paddle Boat/Kayak, Fishing, Swimming, Camp Fire, Water Balloons, and “zip line”.
