Nearly every year around this time, we are visited by a flock of cedar waxwings. I love this little brush-cut bandit. They come to our backyard to feast on our mountain ash berries. I think these berries have fermented. Several of the waxwings have flown into our back door. The year they have stayed longer than normal. I noticed that they are also feeding on our silver maple blossoms. Here are a few images I collected over the past couple of days.

I spent some time playing with my Nikon Z7II video mode today. Summertime is a great time to capture the unique creatures like the broad-tail hummingbird.
