A delicious success at the Post 518 Appetizer Make & Take! 👩‍🍳✨
The American Legion Auxiliary Post 518 hosted a phenomenal Appetizer Class on October 18th, and everyone went home with full hearts, full hands, and amazing recipes!
Our participants rotated through stations to prep 4 different delicious appetizers, picked up some brilliant hosting tips, sampled a few bites along the way, and walked away with a fully loaded take-home container ready to impress at their next gathering.
A massive thank you to everyone who pre-registered and joined us for this fun, hands-on afternoon. We love bringing our community together over great food and great company! 🥂

Supporting our women veterans, one event at a time! 🇺🇸✨
The Women of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 518 are incredibly proud to hand over the proceeds from our Spring Sip & Shop to the amazing Bravo Zulu House!
These funds go directly toward supporting America's first all-military sober home dedicated specifically to women Veterans navigating PTSD and addiction recovery. It is an honor to help build a safe harbor of healing, transformation, and sisterhood for the women who have sacrificed so much for our freedom.
Huge thanks to everyone who came out to shop, sip, and support this cause during our spring event. You made this donation possible! 🎉

Rock Recon IX is happening TOMORROW, October 3rd, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at American Legion Post 518 in North Mankato, MN! 🤘

❄️ Spread the Warmth this winter with American Legion Post 518! ❄️
We are hosting a winter clothing drive to help the students in our area schools stay warm during the cold months ahead. No child should have to brave a Minnesota winter without proper gear, and with your help, we can make sure they don't have to.
We are currently collecting donations of:
Jackets
Socks
Hats
Mittens
Snow pants
📍 Where to donate: Just bring your items down to the Post and place them in our collection drop box, located right by the dart board.
