We’re open 11 AM–5 PM today —

long enough to feed you, pour a few cold ones and still let our crew enjoy a little of the holiday too.

So swing in early.

We’ll handle the food and drinks until 5 — then we’re joining the off-the-clock crowd.

We didn’t exactly find Tryce Floyd.
He kinda found us.

Tryce showed up at our 10-Year Anniversary Street Dance…
asked if he could play - didn’t want a dime for it - just the mic.

So, we gave it to him.

Then we wondered: Where the heck has he been hiding?!

Turns out, he’s been playing around northwest Missouri, has some recorded work under his belt, and now he’s here at MSU.

After what we heard Saturday, giving him his own night was a pretty easy call.

Football season is officially back — and yeah, we’re pretty darn happy about it!

Commercial streaming is its own expensive little sport, so we'll NOT have the game on at the bar tonight. But…

What DO we have?
The before. The after. And everything in between.

Plus, there's plenty happening locally this weekend too!

Friday night:
Mankato East hosts Owatonna at 7 PM at Wolverton Field.
Mankato West hosts Mahtomedi at 7 PM at Todnem Field.

Saturday:
The MNSU Mavericks head to Bismarck to take on the University of Mary at 5:30 PM.

And... don’t forget — the Twins are in Chicago all weekend taking on the White Sox.

Whether you’re headed to the stands, watching from the couch, catching whatever game your TV package decides you’re worthy of seeing, or looking for somewhere to meet up before or after...

We know a place.

Monday Memory — August 31, 2016.

Ten years ago today, this article ran after we took over Spinners.
At the time, we talked about freshening up “a few things.”

Then came the pandemic. The bridge. The street. Equipment meltdowns. Downtown rehab. More curveballs than we could count.

Turns out, “a few things” was wildly optimistic.

But the part we got right back then, was wanting to keep this place going.

Ten years later, against a pretty impressive list of odds, here we are.

Cheers to surviving the stuff nobody plans for — and keeping the sarcasm stocked! 🍻

A huge thank you to Tow Distributing, Dahlheimer Beverage and Artisan Beer for loading us up with prizes, to Giglii for kicking in for the fundraiser, and to every band that helped make the night what it was. (Including a surprise act, Tryce Floyd , who was amazing!)

And to everybody who tossed a name in, hung out, celebrated with us, and helped make the whole thing worth doing — thank you.
