Philadelphia may be famous for its cheesesteaks, but its dive bars deserve a little credit, too.

Back in 1994, a neighborhood joint called Bob & Barbara's started selling a can of PBR and a shot of Jim Beam for $3. They called it “The Special.” 🍺🥃

Word got around. Other bars caught on, and it became known as the *Citywide Special*.

Thirty-two years later, $3 still gets you a PBR at Spinners. The shot'll cost ya extra. Sorry, it's not the '90s anymore. 🤷‍♀️

And since we're talking Philly, we've got Philly Beef Sammies, our new Philly Quesadillas and Tuscan Zuppa soup on today's menu.

we’ve seen just about everything walk through these doors on Halloween.

Hey, nobody has ever accused us or our regulars of being subtle.
Or normal, for that matter.

Remember, Saturday it’s your turn to prove you belong in this lineup.

Sip of Wh***ey kicks off at 8 PM and the costume judging starts at 10 PM.
