So heartbreaking to see these true artists having to shutter. Beef based businesses are an endangered species and bless those that are able to pull it off. We have seen some of our friends move on and we have seen some adapt with other proteins. Now anything moving with diesel is in play also. Sad days for foodies!Hopefully commodities come back to Earth!

Moat Mountain 2.0 is officially here!

After 26 years as a White Mountains staple, we’ve completely rebuilt our menu and dining experience from the ground up to bring the Valley a fresh, unique dining experience.

This massive transformation was only possible thanks to the tireless work of our owners Stephen Johnson, our founder and president, and Dan Raynard, our founding executive chef and owner, along with the incredible dedication of our entire team.

We’re so grateful for their patience and hard work through this uncertain period.
We’re also thankful for the continued support of our loyal guests and local partners like Valley Originals.

We just wrapped our soft opening and the feedback has been amazing!

Come experience the new Moat for yourself.
