The Pub is a restaurant in a comfortable bar setting for adults 21 & older. The pub is a place to visit with old friends or better yet, to make some new ones.

Continuing the tradition in a building built before 1910 that once held one of North Bend’s earliest saloons, our intent is to provide our guests with a true neighborhood pub – a relaxed and comfortable environment for adults (21+) in which to enjoy some great food and drink. When you are somewhere else, the pub is where you would rather be.

Hey now folks,

This is the post we didn’t want to write and you didn’t want to read, but here we are nonetheless. We’ve had a wonderful time taking care of you for almost 12 years, but there comes a time when you have to take care of yourselves too – and for a plethora of reasons we’ve unfortunately reached (and some would argue, surpassed) that point. Therefore, as with all good things, it’s time for the Pub to close our doors one last and final time after service on Sunday, August 11th.

We couldn’t have done any of this without you being the most amazing guests we could have ever hoped for, nor without our even more amazing staff. The Pub was the quintessential “Third Place” for all of us, a home away from home where we all got to visit with one another while enjoying fantastic food & drink, a place to sing along with great music or cheer for your team, a place to relax and ultimately, hopefully, to be happy.

We’re going to miss all of you incredibly, but we’ll still be around, hoping to cross paths again with you as the universe allows.

To quote the song:
“Lately it occurs to me, what a long, strange trip it’s been.”

Once again, thank you all so very very much, for everything.

Our keg of Silver Moon's F*ck Cancer IPA is now officially in the "How the hell is beer still coming out?" phase, so tonight's probably your last chance at that too.

It's a beautiful Saturday and we hope you're enjoying it, and then we hope just as much that you'll join us at the Pub tonight after you've done so! 😉

We also tapped a new keg last night, and it's a beaut: the craft masters at the pFriem Family Brewing Co. have hit another home run with their 7%, 55 IBU Mosaic + Strata West Coast IPA! You'll detect flavors of grapefruit, pine, and g***a all balanced on a delicate malt backbone in this delicious beer that won't be here long when it tastes this good.
On our screens tonight we'll be featuring the Mariners as they visit Chicago's South Side to take on the White Sox as well as anything else that looks interesting, and while you're watching that you can enjoy this Saturday's Featured Sound as we tip our caps to Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers as their last album was released this week in 1999.

In addition to baseball, we'll have the Opening Ceremonies on tonight as well as whatever events NBC will allow us to watch from this side of their ridiculous paywall.

Speaking of wonderful, it appears that you did indeed miss the Low Tide by the way you were ordering it last night – and some new fans were created too! It's Welcome Back Wednesday and tonight we're welcoming back a pizza you haven't seen in a long time, our traditional open Celtic folk session, and of course, you!
This week's special pizza was another covid casualty but you've been requesting it ever since we were forced to take it off the menu. We're now happy to tell you that the planets have aligned and all the water has rushed out of the bay so you better get here while you can – the Low Tide is back this week! For those of you who've joined the Pub family only recently, this personal favorite of a pie is pure delicious simplicity: a flat scratch-made crust slathered with our pesto and loaded with whole milk mozzarella before being topped with only the tenderest baby clams (not chopped adult eraser bits) and freshly minced garlic. Folks, when we opened our doors this was THE pie. Come & get one while supplies last!
We've also got an Open Celtic Folk Session this evening! Tonight's Session (like every Wednesday @ 7pm) is open for intermediate to advanced musicians with experience playing traditional Celtic Folk dance pieces, or you can just relax and enjoy the music as part of the audience. Come see & listen for yourself from 7-9pm tonight.
On our screens tonight we'll be showing some excellent soccer matches with both the MLS All-Star Game as well as Chelsea v. Wrexham and we'll probably find a screen for Mets/Yankees, too.

Happy Sunday! In case you were unaware, the Oregon Coast is contractually obligated to get overcast & rainy every so often – don't worry about it, just be glad it's not 106° and prepare for summer to resume tomorrow.
While you're waiting for the sun, you should come on down to the Pub because tonight's the last night of our Beignet Fries special! If you've ever been down to the Big Easy you're already excited, but for those of you who unfortunately don't know what I'm talking about, think of them as deep-fried, soft, donut-like yet french fry-shaped pastries that are served warm with powdered sugar. They're a delicious & light treat that we think will be the perfect conclusion to your meal - so be sure to save just a wee bit of room!
Our keg of Goodlife's Wave Park Hazy IPA has now sold all it's supposed to yet it continues to pour so come on down to see if you're the one who can finish it off – and while you're waiting I can tell you about our newest selection from our beer cellar: we'd like to introduce you to Block 15's (now we've got your attention, lol) Wonka's Witbier! This half-liter bottle conditioned wild ale with coriander & orange peel is a blend of two-year old oak-matured beer with a fresh batch and then further matured for five months in oak before it was bottled in June of 2020 and it has been evolving throughout its slumber in our cellar ever since. Gentle acidity and citrus funk compliment notes of summer berries and stone fruits leading to a crisp, wheat malt finish. Let's put it this way: if you love beer at all you're going to love this and if you're not sure, think of this as what Blue Moon was trying for but missed by a hundred miles. 🤣
On our screens tonight we'll be featuring the Red Sox @ the Dodgers on SNB as well as more NBA Summer League games.

Our new Beignet Fries dessert* special continues! If you've ever been down to the Big Easy you're already excited, but for those of you who unfortunately don't know what I'm talking about, think of them as deep-fried, soft, donut-like yet french fry-shaped pastries that are served warm with powdered sugar. We also tapped a new rotator last night: from Everybody's Brewing in White Salmon, WA comes their Uncle Stepdad's Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout! This 10.5% 70 IBU brew has a very silly name, but don't let that scare you off from this dark, rich beer that could easily become one of your new favorite sippers – and it pairs with the beignets beautifully!
On our screens tonight we'll be showing the WNBA All-Star Game as well as some MLB & MLS action and while you're watching those you can enjoy this Saturday's Featured Sound as we celebrate the release of Appetite For Destruction on July 21, 1987. Yeah, G'n'R hit the scene 37 years ago tomorrow. Nuts, right?
Anyway, those are some pretty good reasons to come in tonight – and just think, that's only a couple of them.

It's Welcome Back Wednesday, and tonight we're welcoming back our traditional Celtic folk session, a keg on life support, and our guests in their role as culinary science experiments!
As those of you who've been with us for a while know, we tend to rotate through different desserts over the years as we don't sell too many - you're all usually too full after your apps and entrees, lol. Regardless, we suspect this one's going to be a hit: anyone out there familiar with beignets? If you've ever been down to the Big Easy you are for sure, but for those of you who unfortunately don't know what I'm talking about, think of them as deep-fried, soft, donut-like square pastries that are served warm with powdered sugar. Well, we all know that here at the Pub we're either incredibly traditional or not at all, so for the first time ever we'd like to offer you our newest dessert that's a little of both: Beignet Fries! Happy Sunday! How about wrapping up your weekend properly with dinner & drinks at the Pub tonight?
It's your last chance at our Volcowno special! A flat-crusted, red-sauced, whole milk mozzarella-laden pizza topped with savory ground beef, sharp red onions, sweet pineapple, and a fiery sriracha drizzle; all resulting in a four-ring mouthcircus that will amaze and delight your tongue. A small is just $17, a medium pizza is $24, and a large pie is only $31.
We tapped a new rotator last night, and it's one of our all-time favorite brews: from Silver Moon in Bend comes their annual F*ck Cancer IPA benefit beer! Proceeds from this delicious 6%, 65 IBU brew go directly to one of a number of local (Oregon) non-profits helping both researchers and victims alike. Drink a great pint for a great cause while it's here!
On our screens tonight we'll be featuring the Final of the Copa America between Columbia and Argentina and it should be a hell of a match. No SNB as tomorrow is the All-Star Break but we'll see what else is on that looks entertaining if world-class soccer isn't your thing. 😉
