Owners Cisco, LJ and Matt have been hard at work cutting and laying down carpet in the gaming area, in addition to many other pivotal tasks as Flynn’s moves closer to being able to announce an opening date. Stay tuned because we are closer than ever!

Flynn’s is looking for bartenders!

Seeking motivated, high-vibe individuals for multiple bartending positions at Flynn’s Arcade and Bar in North Beach, MD. Between today and 5 PM Monday September 14th. Please email your resumes directly to [email protected] with the “Subject: Bartending Position”, and our team will be in touch to let you know if you’ve been selected for an interview.

Bartending experience is preferred but not required as Flynn’s will provide on the job training. Current TIPS certification is a bonus.

Seeking the following shifts:
Mon: 6pm-10:30pm
Wed: 6pm-10:30pm
Fri: 1:30-6pm, 5:30-11:30pm
Sat: 10am-5pm, 4:30-11:30pm
Sun: 10am-4pm, 3:30-9:30pm

*Please note: Legal minimum age in the state of Maryland to work as a bartender is 21 *

The Flynn’s crew got a lot of wall framing built over the weekend (over 100 feet in 2 days). This weekend hopefully the heat won’t slow us down from finishing the rest of the framework so we can start on sheet rock.

The Flynn’s Crew will be in full force outside of our building this Saturday at ART ALLEY (RSVP in comments) hosted by our awesome neighbors at Artworks ! It’s a free event that will showcase some amazing local artists.

We’ll be giving everyone one more opportunity to pre-orders our limited edition Light Cycle Club T-Shirt, which will give you free gaming anytime you wear it for the first 6 months we’re open,

and

Our Beverage Director, Savanna, will be on hand serving specially crafted Mock-Tails (non-alcoholic)!

Pardon our dust as our owners Cisco, LJ and Matt have shed blood, sweat and no tears (yet) - working tirelessly the past two weekends to cut, jackhammer, haul concrete and dig trenches so our plumber can lay piping for the bathrooms and bar drains.

Thank you to our friends Maxx and Ryan who were able to lend hands and equipment during the process.

It’s still a little early to set a hard date for the grand opening but this Summer is looking promising!

After several months of patiently awaiting permit approval from Calvert County, the necessary permits have been secured and construction is underway. In addition to getting a brand new roof, we’ve painted the ceilings and have assembled frames for the walls in what will be our gaming area.

It may not look like much as we are only a week into buildout, but things are moving along and will be ramping up rapidly starting this week. We are excited to share our progress with you as we move closer to opening this Summer. Thank you for your continued, support, enthusiasm and patience!
