Here at Hardware, we are looking to change the way people think about eating local. At Hardware we strive to keep our carbon footprint to a minimum by growing our own produce and using reclaimed building materials as design elements. Our onsite organic Greenhouse provides us with lettuces and micro greens for our salads. The roof of the building is designed to reclaim all rain water to irrigate ou

r greenhouse. The greenhouse is showcased in the bar area in our restaurant. Utilizing our suburban property, we have planted a micro orchard which will provide us with fruits and nuts. Our patio is home to our herb garden. Behind our building is our BBGB 1.5 acre organic hop farm. We use a 250 foot well into an underground aquifer to supply all of our water for production in our brewery. Besides brewing our own beer, Hardware is currently home to the largest whiskey selection in the western suburbs. With over 400, our extensive list includes tasting notes for every whiskey. Try one of our house blended whiskies, a whiskey flight or one of our prohibition era inspired scratch cocktails. Overall, Hardware is a unique local dining experience. Come in and try us out. You'll be glad you did.

FRIDAY DINNER SPECIAL:

SEA SCALLOPS

Seared sea scallops, papaya & grape relish, pesto white bean, pea puree, grilled sourdough

Fresh off a very successful Beer Dinner last night, Chef Aly still has creativity left to bring us another wholly original fish dish for Lent. Beautifully seared scallops in a dish thst brings the savory and then all of the sudden - BAM! GRAPES! This is a classic Aly style dish and a wonderful way to start your weekend.

7oz skate wing, celery apple bleu cheese slaw, yukons, herb and caper remoulade, drizzled with buffalo oil

Here she goes again... Chef Aly has crafted an inspired dish for those partaking in Lent (but it also tastes amazing if you aren't). When you hear Wings, you probably thing Buffalo style, so why not play with that on a Skate fish? If you've never had skate wing before, this dish is comfort from every direction and will make you feel like you can finally relax and enjoy a beautiful weekend.

ground lamb, beef, carrots, onion, celery, tomato, mushroom, peas, in a rich herb beef just topped with mashed potatoes and parmesan cheese

And the soup - CREAMY BROCCOLINI COLCANNON

cabbage, onions, carrot, celery, broccolini, green bell pepper, garlic, and potato in a cheesy cream topped with waffle chips

Our Chef's Shepard's Pie is a Hardware crowd favorite. Our Chef is incredibly humble, but even she admits she makes this is dish better than anyone else on the planet. We dare you to disagree.
