🙏SHARE🙏 This is Hachikō, the American Akita. Thanks to an intuitive friend, we changed this big guy’s name and he’s still available for adoption . We took this photo after I assisted with his grooming at two weeks ago.

👔How did I assist? I simply gave him a ride and sped up the washing, drying and brushing process! He was an absolute gentleman!! (SEE HIS TIE??)

💎Though all dogs are special to us, Akitas are of particular significance. They are known for their loyalty, hence his name. In Japanese, Hachikō means loyal dog. It is earned though and that’s what makes him a difficult adoption.

💔People take the dog/human relationship for granted and tend to forget loyalty and respect are earned. Some sadly approach dogs unaware they carry a sentiment of, “entitled affection”.

🐕 If you know the Akita as a breed please consider adopting Hachikō. If you know of anyone who does, please share. He and all dogs deserve our loyalty and respect first. We all play a role and when we take action, it exemplifies benevolent leadership.
