The Sooner Ballroom Dance Club

The Sooner Ballroom Dance Club We are a student-run organization at University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK that teaches several 5-week sessions of various dance lessons each semester.

The Sooner Ballroom Dance Club is all about promoting, teaching and enjoying social partner dancing, including but not limited to smooth/standard, Latin/rhythm, swing/nightclub, salsa, country-western, polka, vintage and Cajun/Zydeco. The Sooner Ballroom Dance Club is an University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK (OU) registered student organization. But anyone can join the club, you do not have to be affiliated with OU at all to join! Every month, we'll be teaching swing/nightclub, Latin and smooth dances, and possibly country-western, polka etc. We'll also have social dances and possibly other activities. We also host a ball every semester. Like us for updates, lesson location and information, and ball information!
