Sean and Brad are back with a look at what’s happening at the Push. This week… Sean forgot to check the shot before recording. Which is why he is partly cut off by the edge of the screen.

Luckily he is self confident enough… and lazy enough to not worry about doing a 2nd take.

“Professor Giggles” of Old Dominion University (the Harvard of the South)…

Today is my first day of my second year teaching the beautiful art of improvisation to the Strome Business School of my Alma mater, the Harvard of the South (ODU). Thanks to the amazing professor and Doctor, Rhett Epler, I am back at the best school in the world teaching the sales folks how to think on their feet.

Yes it’s true I went to ODU for 8 years and only got a bachelors degree, but that never stopped me from becoming a true giant in my field. And my field is the discipline of giggles. So from now on call me, “Professor Giggles.”

Rhett and I are gonna take these students and make them comfortable in the uncomfortable and teach them skills that will stay with them for a lifetime. I am honored to be back at my Alma mater teaching what I know best. The art of bull-crapping. It’s an honor to teach with Rhett because he is one of the finest teachers I’ve ever met. I’m not just saying that cause he’s paying me either. He’s inspiring.

I wish my momma were here to see this. At least she saw me do last year I suppose. I kissed my son Fletcher goodbye this Mawnin and told him daddy had to go teach at university. Even though he’s only 6 weeks old he said, “Get em daddy. You are wicked smart.” He’s a good boy.

Having said that, this 2026-2027 year is gonna be amazing with all these young monarch yes anders.

Again from now on call me Professor Giggles. You can also catch me in Date Night the show on Saturday at 8 at the Push. Hope to see you there …Good talk

Inconceivable Resemblance…

Okay so I’ll admit this is an abnormal photo of my son, Fletcher, but this pic has made me laugh for a few weeks. Every time I look at it, I giggle because he looks like an adorable old man in this pic.

Then earlier while on the phone we figured out what made me laugh so much. He looks like the “inconceivable” guy from Princess Bride.

I can not stop laughing at this picture. I know I’m immature but I had to share this inconceivable picture with yall. I hope this nickname doesn’t stick but it is funny.

Thinking about dressing Fletcher up as this guy and Michael Khandelwal together for Halloween to look like Andre the Giant and the inconceivable guy… Good talk

Top 10 Firsts with Fletcher…

10. Fletcher’s first time meeting a Giant Human, my dear friend Michael Khandelwal (he’s 7’14 inches tall)…

9. Fletcher’s first time meeting my brother. I sprung up to his work and baby bombed him. I explained later that I got all the looks and wealth in the family not him. Okay maybe just the looks…

8. Fletcher’s first time meeting his cousin and my boo Trey McMurran. They bonded like oatmeal and brown sugar…

7. Fletcher’s first time meeting with my departed childhood friends Greg Cooke, and my momma’s dear friend Brenda Rae Fennell. I explained how special these two folks were and how much trouble I got into st Trinity church. (Maury Wise Cooke, Anne Claud Claywell)…

6. Fletcher’s first time at the McMurran Olde Towne House of my youth. I explained all the stories about how I was on restriction and awful lot at this house. I also showed Fletcher my momma’s magnolia tree in the park of my youth in God’s Country, Portsmouth. I cried while picking a magnolia flower for my momma. (Betty McMurran). I sang itsy bitsy spider to him and cried the whole time. I miss my mother more than I can explain…

5. Fletcher met Jim Veverka aka Oo Man and I told him of him that Mary Masterson Veverka would have spoiled him and how much she meant to me. I wish she could have met you big man. She was very good to me and shan’t ever be forgotten.

4. Fletcher’s first time with the Smurfs. He wore a Jokey Smurf shirt (my hero and mentor) and we watched an episode of the Smurfs. I told him how I was obsessed with them in my youth. He seemed appropriately interested in baby Smurf the most…

3. Fletcher’s first time at a pool party (thanks Kendra Fowler Kaufman). He was the hit of the party and only drank a few fire ball shots. Our friend (California’s child) held him and she fell
In love. She’s only in the first grade and he’s already breaking hearts…

2. Fletcher’s first time to Doumars on Granby. I wore a special chef’s hat and Sandy Gamlin and I took him there for a square dog. He seemed to enjoy the atmosphere and was wondering just like all the other waitress’ and guests why his daddy wears weird hats (see pic) so often.

1. Fletcher’s first time dancing to Michael Jackson’s Thriller dance at a wedding. Sandy’s brother got married and Fletcher took to the dance floor like an old pro. He did the zombie dance and I told him he would hear this song every Halloween for the rest of his life. He moonwalked to the Buffett table after and flirted with all the ladies…

Fletcher has had a busy five weeks and today he will be introduced to something else new. I will be dressing him up in a cowboy outfit and we will be watching Tombstone together. He will be Doc Holiday and I will be Wyatt Earp. Don’t be alarmed but there is a new sheriff in town and the name is Fletcher!!!

I adore him… Good talk
