Elad & Allets While at ‘Trade Days’, a flea market, we liked the staves on display by some vendors. A stave is a piece of oak wood taken from wine or whiskey barrels.

My wife and I have always wanted to start a family business but we could not think of any ideas on what to do until we went on vacation to Fredericksburg, Texas. That is when we decided to design and decorate staves as our family business. Each stave has its own unique perfection and imperfections. All staves are hand sanded, pre-stained, stained, varnished, and decorated. The staves can be custom

ized to order. We created the business name: Elad & Allets, Family Wood Art. Elad is my middle name (Dale) backwards
Elad means: God is eternal. Allets is Jean’s first name (Stella) backwards
