Don’t worry just because our doors our closed doesn’t mean TRIVIA iris over.... that’s right come by Barley Island Brewing Co. Thursday’s at 7:30!!! Trivia starts tonight!! 7:30 pm at Barley Island!!!

As tomorrow is our last day open we will open up early at 2. We wanted to say thanks to everyone for the good times we have had over the years. We will be grilling out tomorrow at the brewery starting at 2 pm. till we close down. Come out grab a bite and say your goodbyes!

Dear friends of Deer Creek Brewery,

As some of you know, we have been in negotiations with our landlord to amend our lease terms to enable us to continue operating at the Cumberland Rd site. Unfortunately these talks did not work out and as a result, we will be closing our doors as of end of business August 3 2019. We are sad that it has come to this, and that we will be leaving you, our friends and customers, without an east-side watering hole to relax while enjoying great beer and conversations with Brock. We truly appreciate the love and support you have shown us in the four years we have been here and we will miss all of you.

The news is not all grim, however! Our sister company Barley Island Brewing Company will be opening the new Deer Creek Pub and Bistro in the next two weeks at Harbourtown Shoppes, located at 211th and Little Chicago Road. We will have a full bar with wine, liquor and of course all the great Deer Creek beers you have enjoyed over the years, plus a full kitchen offering a wide range of entrees. We are excited to be able to keep the beer flowing and expand the offerings we were unable to provide at the Cumberland Rd site. We hope to see you at the new location and will let you know via Facebook when the opening date is set.

In meantime, please visit Barley Island on Conner Street across from the courthouse for the same great beers and full bar and dining options. We will also continue our 7:30 Thursday Trivia competition at Barley, so we hope to see you then as well!

For our last day at Cumberland Rd, we would invite all our friends to stop in, share a beer and memories with Brock and accept our heartfelt thanks for the support you’ve given us over the years. Thank you to everyone!

We took all this rye and threw it into our an extra rye-ie small batch of our Ryefly IPA that we are tapping today. And don’t forget trivia starts at 7:30 tonight!!

Come check out this weeks special one off beer, Terry the Mystic!! A full body java stout with a rich tiramisu finish. Trivia will also be starting up at 7:30-9 Thursday for anyone who likes cold beer and even a cooler trivia!
