New laws for UTVs.

Effective June 1, 2026, Wisconsin law mandates that all occupants of a Utility Terrain Vehicle (UTV)—including both operators and passenger.

Full Occupant Requirement: Every person on board must have their seatbelt securely fastened while the UTV is in motion.

No Aftermarket Seating Exceptions: All passengers must ride in designated, factory-installed seating. Aftermarket "bump seats" or riding in the cargo bed remain illegal.

Safety Context: State officials note that roughly 95% of fatal off-road crashes involve occupants who fail to wear a seatbelt, a helmet, or both.

What else is new...

Window Tint Limits: UTVs are now subject to strict window tint restrictions that closely mirror the standards used for standard passenger cars.

Towing Restrictions: Operators are strictly prohibited from towing any object or trailer that is carrying a person on public trails or designated road routes.

Property Damage Penalties: If an operator intentionally causes property damage with an ATV or UTV, they can be penalized up to three times the financial cost required to repair the trail or property, such as tearing up town gravel roads or damaging property off a designated trail.

What is already law, Reminder...

Helmets: Anyone under the age of 18 (whether driving or riding as a passenger) is required by law to wear a DOT-approved helmet.

Safety Certification: Any operator born on or after January 1, 1988, who is at least 12 years old must complete a state-approved safety course and carry their certificate while riding on public lands. You can view upcoming classes or take the course online via the Wisconsin DNR Safety Education Portal.

🤎 It’s official — our dining room is finally complete with all of our new high-top, mid-height, and low wood tables paired with our beautiful log chairs! 🤎

We couldn’t be more grateful for the two amazing humans (Scott and Sue) who helped make this all possible. Your hard work, talent, and generosity truly brought our vision to life, and we absolutely love how everything turned out.

We can’t wait for everyone to come in, grab a seat, and enjoy the new space!

Let the riding begin🤍

The news many have been waiting for. Please know that we will absolutely have portions of our trail system that will NOT be ready and will be closed off!! We have Dangerous wash outs etc, we will do our best to get them fixed and open. We may not be able to groom before trail opening, due to a damaged tire on the tractor. Replacement tires are to be in Thursday and will still need to be installed on tractor. We will keep you posted

As many of you know, our Country Bar Team has a HUGE love for fundraising for our local youth sports programs.

🍁This year Our Country Bar Crew received a donation of 50 bottles of homemade maple syrup! 🍁

This generous contribution will significantly support our mission to give back to youth programs. We are truly grateful, our thanks cannot fully capture the depth of our appreciation!

We will be starting this fundraiser tonight Wednesday, April 8th until all bottles are gone!
