My stolen Gift..
The pics you see above and below, is of a table that I sat at for over 15 years at The King Of Clubs in Swifton. My Family, friends and band members. Most of the money I made at The King Of Clubs playing music to raise and feed my children while they where growing up. At this table we sat at on every break and the stories it could tell and does in my heart.
This table was donated (Given to me) by Mrs. Evelynn Kings brother (Doc) Doyle Hawk and her Son Bobby King when I opened my bar "Danny's Beer Thirty" in Newport. They told me if anyone had earned the table, I did and deserved it more than anyone else. It was an honor to receive this gift from a lady I honored and respected for so long. Trying to keep the story short here so , here we go.
I befriended someone I thought I could trust and they had the idea, (since I am a carpenter) that I should put in a bar. They had a building (The Lackeys Hot Tamale building) and was about to be condemned and the owner (Chuck) Danny Whitmire told me if I took the building and completely repaired it (Which I did) that I would be rent free for a year! A verbal agreement and trust.
Also, I had a clean background and I am a decent man and could easily get the permits to open a bar/comedy club/food place with lots of musical entertainment.I did all this and you can see all the sweat blood and tears I put into this damn near condemned building here--> https://www.facebook.com/DannysBeerThirty/ look thru all the photos especially the before and after shots at the end. Anyway, I decided to get out even before my year lease was up. Times where hard and it took up way to much of my time.I ask chuck Whitmire if he would be interested in buying me out and if not I was closing the bar..He said yes and I was to let everything go with the bar already set up EXCEPT my table. He agreed, and in front of several witness I made him promise that table would be there until I could get back to get it and that it was on loan until I could get it. so for the some of $3000 he could take over the bar and work under my permits until he got his own. No problem, RIGHT!? lol, wrong.. He gave me $1000 dollars down and was to pay the rest within two months. Well I went to Florida to work a pipeline job and trusted everything was in good hands., but slowly but surely everything was going to hell in a hand basket with me and whitmire.. he wouldn't answer calls or txt.. some of my friends where running the bar and kept me filled in on what was going on...anyway.. chuck Whitmire ( who also was running or helping run the Smokehouse there in Newport ) ran up $1400 in taxes on my license and never paid them.. he shut down the bar and changed the locks and then some friends of mine bought the bar and wanted my blessing or permission to do so..I had already got the ABC to help me get in and get my equipment and table that was rightfully still mine and under my permits. let my other friends , whom I trusted use my things still in the bar but they got their own permits.. see apparently CHUCK WHITMIRE had lied so much to the ABC and others trying to get the permits in other peoples name that the ABC would never give him a permit..hmmmm...lol... So , I told my friends who bought the bar , no matter what DO NOT LET ANYTHING HAPPEN TO MY TABLE!..(I know its just a table to you guys, But to me its worth a whole lot more sentimentally and where it came from) but things where not going good for them business wise either at the bar and had to fall out of the deal they had.. when I went to get my table, I was locked out and come to find out WHITMIRE moved the Table up to The Smokehouse there in Newport and is using it today. I've begged and pleaded for them to give my table back. They told me I needed proof that it was mine..LMFAO!. So, I had everyone that knew and the ones that actually gave me the table to call or go by there and still, these thieves will not do whats right!I'll say no more on here about all this unnecessary drama that should have never happened.Where did all the honest , true to their word people go in the world.. I guess I'm just old fashion and still believe a mans word should be all you need but damn I'm giving up on that one thief at a time..so damn angry.. I don't expect no comments or sympathy. just wanted everyone to know my side of the story. They seem to run their mouth plenty then run and hide as cowards and thieves do but I know the people they run their mouths to don't matter because I know the ones that believe them are as sorry as he or they are. The ones who are running it are as guilty as he is for not giving back my gift from the past.. There's a lot more bad things they've tried to do to me that I am not gonna put on here.. but I'm not gonna stoop to their level and do it..Karma will take care of it for sure I know and even if they keep my table its not the table as much as it is doing whats right , So if anyone goes to THE SMOKEHOUSE and eats be sure to sit at MY table and remember where it came from and how their sorry asses wound up with it..THE END...Have a great day!
