Introducing Lemon Bar, the first release in our Braxton Labs rotating dessert berliner weisse line-up. Each release is meant to bring fresh baked desserts straight to your glass…brewed to be light and clean with a bit of lactose to provide some sweetness. 🍋 For Lemon Bar we used a specially modified yeast strain to bring a clean acidity to fermentation before adding hundreds of pounds lemon puree. A short time spent conditioning on vanilla and cinnamon results in a sweet, tart, and delectable lemony dessert in your glass.

Introducing Mantra Vanilla Cream Coffee Stout, the first drop in what will be quarterly releases of the full Mantra Imperial Pastry Stout line-up from Braxton Labs. 🍻

Mantra is a big, bold, pastry stout coming in at 9.5% ABV. An array of specialty grains bring together a complex malt profile of caramel, milk chocolate, toffee, and a touch of coffee. ☕ Minimal hops bring just the right amount of bitterness. We brewed and fermented it to leave enough sugars behind to create a robust and creamy mouthfeel.

In the coming months, each quarterly release of Mantra will be conditioned on a different set of adjuncts that bring to life some of your favorite dessert flavors. We can’t wait to share them all with you.

As for Mantra Vanilla Cream…this bold pastry stout in all its delicious glory will be available for online purchase beginning THIS FRIDAY AT NOON! You can also sample Mantra Vanilla Cream beginning this Saturday at Braxton Covington...enjoy it as part of our Girl Scout Cookie Pairing. 🍪

The next chapter begins for Braxton Labs. 🍻

We opened Braxton Labs in 2017 to deliver innovation to Braxton Brewing Company. Since then, Braxton Labs has become more than a taproom - it represents some of the most unique & innovative beers anywhere.

Today we're announcing a shift in our focus. We've made the decision to return Labs back to its roots, and to the foundation it was built upon … an innovation-only lab. This means we will no longer operate as a taproom, instead staying keenly focused on continuing to create the most innovative beers we can. It’s what we were made to do.

Today we're also excited to share a new look for Braxton Labs. Very soon we'll be announcing new Braxton Labs releases, centered around 4 key beer styles you’ll be able to enjoy in all of our taprooms and online: IPA, Dessert Berliners, Imperial Stouts, and Dry Hopped Pilsners. We can't wait.

Effective immediately our Braxton Labs taproom at The Party Source is closed. We are and will be forever grateful for the patronage of our Labs taproom guests, and we look forward to bringing Labs beers to all our Braxton taprooms for years to come.

We are thrilled to release the entire 2021 Dark Charge lineup for Pre-Sale, including this year’s Braxton Labs release, Coconut Cream Puff.

Coconut Cream Puff takes the rich, roasty and decadent base of 12 month bourbon barrel aged Dark Charge and adds milk sugar for an extra creamy feel. Time conditioning on fresh, raw coconut, vanilla beans and cinnamon lends bursting flavors of fresh baked pastries and a sweet, tropical finish.
