Please join us this Father’s Day in wishing our Father, who Art-istic Director is. Devon be thy name. It is thy birthday!
Happy Birthday Devon! We all thank our lucky stars for our guiding light that shines the brightest. He keeps us grounded, keeps us on our toes, and keeps us going! He has spent HALF of his life at the Firehouse Theater! And the other half NOT sleeping… We’re not sure he ever sleeps… The Energizer Hey Honey Boney.
Some people say the grind doesn’t stop, but with Devon it’s true. Our fearless leader who when he’s not writing music, recording music, changing diapers or whatever at his day job, he is taking care of EVERYTHING behind the scenes at the theatre!
ATTN: If you see this Artistic Director, PLEASE, tell him to sit down. Maybe hand him a pillow, make him hot cocoa. Or ask him how you can help him help us. Because that’s what he does. Every day. Help, maintain, build, and inspire.
Thank you for being born and gracing us with your talent, your wisdom, your heart and soul. I like to think of the rest of us Bit Players as vampires and Devon is our poor, decaying victim. Because we WILL suck the life out of him. Until there is nothing left. And those once ivory keys of the Firehouse piano are scarlet red.
