It's almost here... Thursday Night Trivia, with a great burger special (Bacon Mushroom Swissburger,) a beer promo (Toppling Goliath's world-class "Pseudo Sue" Pale Ale,) a great host (Jay Wulff,) an awesome bartender (Jason,) an unsurpassed bank of ever-changing beer taps, and the best group of friendly regulars and trivia contestants... anywhere!

See you tomorrow... play starts at 8pm, but get here early for one of those delicious made-to-order burgers, or a batch of our wings!

Are you ready for the challenge? Just 2 days until the return of "Thursday Night Trivia!" It starts at 8pm on January 16th, with teams of up to 6 players. It's always free to play, and there will be some interesting new twists!

We'll have guest hosts, a beer/liquor promo every week, and our full kitchen menu will be available, so come early and enjoy a delicious made-to-order burger, or a batch of our fantastic wings! (This week's specialty burger is a Bacon Mushroom Swissburger with Fries. Look for a different one every Thursday!)

This week, Jay Wulff is our guest MC. A veteran trivia host, stand up comic, and also the regional sales rep for Sarene Craft Beer Distributors, he's put in more hours of research than you can count, and has thousands of intriguing questions at the ready!

Our beer promo will be Toppling Goliath's "Pseudo Sue" a World-Class Pale Ale, that received a perfect score of 100, on Beer Advocate!

As usual, the weather forecast keeps changing... and it ain't bad! The shower(s) may hold off until much later in the day.

Might have to make a stop at Berry Park, one of our favorite rooftop bars in NY. Hadn't planned on it, because of the threat of rain.

This years list includes a few stops that we've never been to.

I'm sure that I'm not alone, when I say... "I'm gonna miss Mugs."

Good morning! We expect warm weather this Saturday for our trip to Brooklyn... it will likely break 60 degrees, but it will be drizzly, so be prepared.

I have received confirmation from the Brooklyn Brewery. They are expecting our group by 1pm. They would appreciate an approximate head count in advance, so please post here, if you intend to join us!

Leaving Beacon on the 9:42 train, on Saturday, January 11th. Return at a time of your own choosing. Maps/itineraries will be provided on the train.

In 4 days, we'll be on our way to Brooklyn, and some of the best eateries and beer bars in the borough!

Who's in?

If you plan to join us, meet us at the north end of the Beacon train station! We depart on the 9:42am train, so leave yourself time to find a parking space (free on Saturdays,) and purchase your train fare. (Tickets are more expensive, if purchased on the train.)

We'll likely have to deal with some light rain, but the temps in Brooklyn are going to be close to the record of 62 degrees, set in 1975!

Highly recommend downloading the app... “Ulmon CityMaps2Go.” I’ve been using this for years, and it is one of the best travel planners out there.

I have stored the potential stops in Brooklyn (and also for the Manhattan Crawl, in June.) You don’t need it for this trip, but if you have it, I can share the stops that I’ve already tagged in the app.

Join us for our 14th Annual Brooklyn Pub Crawl, on Saturday, January 11, 2020! Car pool from The Rail, or just meet us on the north end of the Beacon train station platform.

We will depart on the 9:42am train. Maps and tentative itineraries are provided. return at a time of your own choosing. The Brooklyn Brewery has scheduled our group for a 1:30pm tour.

The majority of the crawl takes place in Greenpoint and Williamsburg... two great areas for food and drink.

Return at a time of your own choosing. Uber/Lyft/cab service is recommended.
