We are excited to announce a new program designed for middle and high school students at Northern Discovery Academy. Through the new Outdoor Leadership and Environmental Education program students will learn about the natural resources in Newaygo County and beyond; while engaging in outdoor experiences that include opportunities for leadership and help create a vision for outdoor entrepreneurial investment wherever they may go!

- Students will learn about the natural riches of our area.
- Students will see what practices best preserve our natural resources.
- Students will hear from leaders in these industries.
- Students will go out and explore these areas in kayaking, hiking, canoeing, and more.
- Students will work on projects and volunteer in the community to see how our natural resources are essential.
- Students will enjoy an active, enriching, and fun learning environment that will test their resilience and reward their effort.

Thursdays 11-3, led by an experienced instructor, and will cost just $900 for the year for the student.
