Laughing Lassi is New York City’s premier South Asian stand-up comedy show: a monthly night of Desi comedy at Broadway Comedy Club in Midtown Manhattan, two blocks from Times Square.
Every show features Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Sri Lankan comedians from NYC and beyond, including comics who’ve performed on Comedy Central, Netflix and major festivals, alongside the funniest new voices in New York. Featured in Time Out New York and an official New York Comedy Festival selection, Laughing Lassi has sold out most Fridays since 2022.
The show is in English and open to everyone. You don’t need to be South Asian to get the jokes. You just need to have had a mother.
