Hello everyone,

With a heavy heart and sadness in our souls, we are announcing the official
closing of Lonestar Sports Bar and Grill. It’s been a great 15 year run for
us, filled with good times and memories that will last forever in our
hearts. We have hosted many birthday parties, graduations, weddings, and
let’s not forget our cancer fundraisers. The many teachers end of year
parties, MTA retirements, union parties, etc., the list goes on and on. We
opened in 2008, a mere 3 months later cancer showed up and tried to take us
down, didn’t happen. And now full circle cancer tried to take us down
again, didn’t happen. I’m in the middle of that now and we still
persevered, despite all that was going against us we are closing the door
for good. To our loyal customers we say THANK YOU, we love you. To our many
past and present employees, we say THANK YOU. When 1 door closes, another
opens. Our last football Sunday will be tomorrow September 24th. Come by
and see us, share your memories with us, grab a drink, shed a tear and give
us a smile because this is not goodbye, but see ya later.

Thanks to Tony for 15 years of hard work, sleepless nights, for the battles
fought and won and mostly for giving to the community. A community that
loved us hard. Stay tuned for our next venture, we may be down on this
avenue, but we are not out. Much love and prayers, we are nothing without
our loyal customers and hard-working staff. Thanks to Tony for bringing the
best tailgating football Sundays to Bay Ridge. And who can forget the 15
Super Bowls with the best spread of food and pastries every year, rain or
shine. Who can forget World Cup Soccer, it was a great run. Go Team USA!!
