With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of James "Jamo" McManus, age 72. We invite family and friends to join us in remembering and honoring Jamo's fruitful life.

With a very heavy heart we announce the passing of James "Jamo" McManus. Jamo was surrounded by his children and Grandchildren in Denver and was happy to witness the New York Knicks win their championship before he passed.

Jamo will be returned home to New York for his final resting place and wake and funeral arrangements will be announced shortly.

Jamo was the architect and proprietor of our establishment for generations. He loved each and every one of our patrons like family and his legacy will live on forever.

We will never be the same without him, but due to the values and traditions he instilled in all of us, we can safely say Peter McManus Cafe will.

We love you, Jamo! ❤️☘️
